How many days until 2 october
What holidays do we celebrate on 2 October?
International Day of Non-Violence
October 2nd is the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, who was famous for his non-violent struggle for independence. International Day of Non-Violence is one of the UN holidays and is meant to promote peace, tolerance and, well, non-violence. The point of non-violence is not in ignoring social and political problems, but in non-violent resistance, such as protest or non-cooperation.
